GCEMS, in partnership with St. Anthony Hospitals Prehospital Services, offers the EMT-Basic course, consisting of a minimum of 180 hours of classroom and practical sessions and at least 44 hours of clinical rotations in the hospital and ambulance settings (outside of regular classroom time). This course prepares the student for the National Registry exam and Colorado State EMT certification. The goal of the ALS Refresher course is to provide a review of the ALS curriculum and to prepare the student to successfully complete the Colorado Paramedic or Intermediate certificate renewal.
